Nov 8 2006, 5:08 PM EST You know, time could be passing quite normally on the outside world and at an accelerated or even a slower rate on the island itself. Maybe that is why people appear to be healed more quickly. Perhaps the others can't leave the island because if they do, they'll die of old age or illnesses that were, not really cured, but slowed down.
