"Actually, Ben says that he could get to the shore in one hour. That's in respose to the person saying the tail might have landed in the water. The interesting part is that when they show the crash sites, on is on the shore and on is further inland. This would mean that the tail that fell off actually flew further than the front of the plane that still had the engines attached. Not likely unless the view of the village that is shown is not where the others were. I think the others saw the crash from the opposite side of the island, and the small village they show, as the camera zooms out, is another village on a second island. If this is true, Lock and Syede (sp?) could find the first village, which would be empty. The captive village may be the one on the second island. The only question is, why couldn't the survivors see the second island from where their crash site is?"
