I did love the ending... but... where is...

I knew going in I wouldnt have all my questions answer. Im ok with that. I expected it. Its kinda nice to not have all of them (think how much better star wars would have been if they never went back and made 1, 2 or 3).

But there is a question I have at the end... in the church.. Sawyer was there, claire was there, but the rest of the people who got on the plane were not... and I loved Vincent being there... but that led to my next question... Where was Micheal and Walt?

Anyhow... still loved it... LOVED that they were willing to take the spiritual route. In this day and age, I think we all could do with a little bit more God in our lives... (which made the trailers for The Bachelorette seem even worse...)..

Best commercials... TARGET!

Night All... see you in Fringe!

Speaking of the church, wasn't that also the church they met at in Season 5 with Ellie, before the Ajira flight back to the island? It looked like it to me.

With that said, I'm not religious nor spiritual. However I do not mind the religious/spiritual context that they toss in there. The writers do a good job of involving religious/spiritual ideas without alienating those of us viewers that are not religious/spiritual.

I think the reason they didn't get Michael and Walt for that particular scene is because the actor who played Walt is now six years older than the character of season one, the character they would have needed for that scene. And if we can't have Walt, it's not nice to give us Michael for that scene. They were a packaged deal.

Why wasn't Ana Lucia in the church? They got her to come back for the last episode, but they couldn't snag her for one scene of the finale? Or did I miss her amongst the group in the church?

They would have made the crew in the church to much of a crowd plus Michael; and Walt weren't really part of the team they bailed. Do you find this valuable?

The alternate reality was like purgatory, and the people in the church were moving on to the next phase, whether it be heaven or whatever you want to call it. Michael, Walt, Ana Lucia, Ben and other characters not there were probably not there becasue they had not yet forgiven themselves. Do you find this valuable?

Desmond said that Ana-Lucia wasn't ready yet, so this must be why she wasn't there. But I don't understand why Alex or Rousseau weren't there, maybe they were needed to stay in the flash sideways to help Ben redeem himself.

Michael might of needed Walt to help him forgive himself or maybe see Ana-Lucia and Libby, but he didn't get to, so he still might be in limbo on the island.

As for Walt, it could be a rumor, but I heard that Walt was at church, but they didn't use the scene with him there. If it's true. I guess we will see it in the deleted scenes in the season 6 DVD.

I don't remember seeing Lapidus or Miles and a few others there, maybe their still alive. But for some reason, I have a feeling that the church scene was many years from now..so I don't know.

Also, I don't understand why Aaron was just a baby in church, that confused me b/c we saw him alive as a toddler when the Oceanic 6 went home. Do you find this valuable?

I'm just glad Lapides and Miles made it off the island. I just wish Desmond had made it, as well. Do you find this valuable?

Desmond did make it off the island. We just didn't see it. Hurley said how we gonna get Desmond off the island if nobody can leave. Ben said that those were Jacob's rules(nobody leaving) and that they will figure out a way to get Desmond home. I'm sure they did.

You're right Bea about Aaron just being a baby in the end at the church. It seems inconsistent. But even more inconsistent is why would Aaron be ready to move on to the next thing after you die when he is just an infant or toddler?
As far as Miles and Frank are concerned (and I was so excited when Frank turned up alive) they were either not as connected to the group in the church and or not ready to move on like Ben. Perhaps Ben felt he needed to find some others he was more connected to like Alex and Rousseau before they were all ready to move on.

Yea I think Ben wanted to stay and make sure Alex and Rousseau were ready to move on. He wouldn't be willing to leave Alex behind. Maybe he also wanted to make things right with he and Widmore.

Good point Bea. I guess they had to do that to keep up with the timeline they were trying to portray. I think they were supposedly in 2004, in their minds when the plane didn't crash on the island. So Claire would have to be pregnant to reflect the timeline. And since time doesn't matter in the FSW it sort of works.

But it does seem kind of dodgy like you said, we see him as a toddler in the previous seasons. And since time wouldn't matter once all the souls realized it was time to move on, they still would have been able to bring in toddler Aaron that we know and still made it make sense. Maybe they just weren't able to get the child actor for Aaron back.

Nobody has seemed ti mention that Eloise was upset with Desmond for bringing the people back when he felt like it even though she warned him it wasn't time..she seems to have remembered killing her son Dan Faraday, or should i say Widmore FSW. He was not in the Church either, nor were charlie or Ellie, they were not ready ti move on....this seems to refkect the Yogi teachings, We are only reay to move on one we have disencumbered ourselves of all the sheaths of our astral presence...John Locke explained this to Charlie when he was told him about the moth.and that it it was trapped in a cocoon that it must struggle to emerge from, if he helped it along, he would be killing it for it would not have gained the strength to survive on its own...Lost draws on many mythological concepts, Egyptian, Mayan and and even Biblical, but we have to understand that it also makes a point to draw in the Eastern beliefs as well..THAT IS WHY I LOVE THE SHOW AND WATCH IT OVER AND OVER...It reveals a diversity of ideas each time!
