As we've seen before, whenever John thinks he has it all figured out he screws up and ruins things for everyone like with the Nigerian plane and Boone, the smoke monster draggin him through the jungle, Here's an idea let's stop pushing the button, and i'll just go ahead andnot watch the psycho man who just tried to kill us and instead i'll play chess and then blindly enter a code that ends up blowing up the one hope of communicating with the outside world. What I wonder is, did Locke intend to blow up The Flame and kill Mikhail or was he just doing things to relieve his curiosity? Pushing a guy through a security fence is a good way to find out what it does, and Locke seemed to find Mikhail expendable. (Not to mention a bit of a threat, since he knew about the paraplegia.) I think Locke is on a vengeful plan, especially since the preview for next week shows Locke with Ben. And he's got some explosives in his bag. Locke could be a little suicidal at this point. "if there has been an incursion by the hostiles, enter 7-7." if there is an incursion that means that the bad guys are attempting to, and have nearly succeeded in getting your stuff. What does any good general do when his/her goods are threatened and unable to be adequatley defended? Answer: destroy the supplies so the enemy cannot use them. that's pretty basic. maybe if john hadn't been so busy sneeking dynamite he would have had time to aplly simple logic.
