Port-Ape	Couple of plot holes...an updated old one too-- May 3 2007, 4:41 PM EDT \| Post edited: May 3 2007, 4:41 PM EDT Plot holes are of course rampant in "Lost"...but this episode brings up a few more. 1. Naomi' s ship, if as advanced as her sat-phone, would have had her helo on GPS/satellite tracking before it went down....therefore leading it DIRECTLY to The Island. 2. (An update on an old plot hole) Eventually Michael and Walt will be seen by people who know them....mom, cousins, friends, etc. When that happens, the cover-up of the crash (the sunken plane) would be cast into doubt. The only way I see around this is if Michael and Walt didn't go back to the USA, or any Western country where their identities would eventually be discovered and they remained in the South Pacific. Also, the whole island could be in a different demention. Where one plane crashed in this alternate demention and the other one crashed into the sea. And the others can cross dementions to acquire files on the people who have come into their demention. Ben does not want anyone to leave the island. He said he rather kill Jack than let him go home. I think Michael and Walt are out at sea going nowhere and are just going in circles lost in a "snow globe" Post reply Do you find this valuable?

RE: Couple of plot holes...an updated old one too-- May 27 2007, 6:41 PM EDT Certainly it is well established that the island plays havoc with all kinds of communications, so there's no reason to suppose that Naomi's GPS would be any different. All the ship crew would know is that the copter's signal disappeared at a certain location, which was probably over open ocean. We don't know how far after that point it was before she parachuted. Since we've been told nothing about what happened to Michael and Walt after their departure in the boat, I don't see how their hypothetical actions after returning to civilization constitute a plot hole.
