Could there be a hatch under there?
May 30 2007, 1:53 PM EDT Here's a theory. What if there's something important within the foot? Could there possibly be another hatch? "The Foot". I could just picture old Marvin from the orientation videos saying "Welcome. This is station 8, The Foot." What the foots for is up for interpretation. Maybe the task within it would be too observe the 2 stationed in the "Looking Glass". Sort of like The Pearl. I'd love to see how Bonnie and what's her face dealt with being down there so long. Everyone has needs... that's all I'm gonna say about that. Wonder how long they were down there? I bet Charlie came down and interrupted a party of some sort, and that's why they got so mad. I bet they wanted to be alone down there... just sayin'. They had to of liked each other somewhat. Think about if you were stuck down there with someone you hated. There would be harpoons flyin'. Anyway, sorry to get off topic. I'm a bit of a stream of consciousness writer. Or maybe next season another guy in an eyepatch will be seen walking out a door on the side of the foot. Better yet, what if it's Alvar Hanso himself is in there. The foot is his underground lair. I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine. Hopefully I'm one "step" ahead of the producers. 1 out of 11 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 30 2007, 7:55 PM EDT Now that is an intersting theory....I have always wondered about that foot myself...I believe the statue was built around the same time as the temple, but then the Dharma people came and everything went to hell. They killed the original guy incharge of puching the button, which caused the magnetic problem to happen. A temple curse was put into motion and the magnetic frequency destroyed most of the statue. Thats probabily when the Dharma people put that one guy down their which later recruted Desmond. Ben decided flying statues and other objects was too much...Bens sub even probabily moved a little before they got that problem fixed...maybe even on shoer...That would have been some work...I can just picture been directing that operation...get down to the other end.....you! stop playing with that.....if we get this sub into the water anyone who wants to go back has a shot. Do you find this valuable? |

We don't even really know about the temple yet, but I suppose it and the foot could be linked in some way. I want to apologize for the Looking Glass thing. I got a bit off topic there. Dug in a little too deep. Maybe they're just good friends. Anyway, good theory 2235. (ps: the guy who "recruited" Desmond was called Kelvin. And The DHARMA people didn't kill the guy before he was there. His name was Rezinski. I probally spelled that wrong, but Kelvin said he blew his brains out. Just sayin'.) Namaste and good luck!
